SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The Hacker's Source prides itself on being a publication devoted to the tru horror fan. We are a forum to promote new writers, artists, directors, poets, actors, etc... If you are interested in having your short stories, artwork, articles, reviews or poems published, please feel free to contact us.

If you are an up and coming small production company, band, director, actor, etc... and would like to be interviewed by Eve Blaack, contact us. She will be more than happy to sink her claws into you.

• If you would like to have your film reviewed, you may send a copy to our PO Box. Films submitted for review will not be returned.
• All submissions for publication must be made electronically and must be single spaced.

• Submission word count limit is 3000 words.
• All submissions must be spell checked. We will not alter spelling, grammar or punctuation.
• Fiction: We are looking for horror, gore, mystery, urban legend, ghost stories, supernatural, occult and other genre pieces. Common reasons that we reject submissions are deviation from the guidelines; lack of originality; poor writing and uninvolving stories. We are looking for something that will keep our readers interests as well as our own. We dare you to shock and entertain us.
• Reviews, Articles and Interviews: You may send a sample of your writing from previous work. If we accept you, we will only then discuss the topic of your piece with you.
• Cover Art: We are not accepting submissions for cover art at this time.
• We generally try to respond to submissions within 2-4 weeks.

The Hacker's Source and Eve Blaack Publications do not pay for submissions that are accepted. We will provide a free copy of the issue in which the submission appears. These will be mailed to the return address provided with submissions.
